Triple Feature | Take 6

In digital film we beg, borrow, and steal from content; scrapping for something we can craft into our own unique point of view. When it fails we get accused of being cheap copies, but when it works we are honored with accolades and awards. From branded content and short films to commercials and music videos; these are the three videos I found this week that are worth watching.

1

While I'm Here | The Legacy Project | San Diego Highwayman from Foster Visuals on Vimeo.

This short documentary film is a great example of how tell someone else's story.

2

Chicago: The Great American City from Jackpot in the West Productions on Vimeo.

The shot selection and framing in this short documentary narrative balanced between iconic and gritty. Ultimately I was left with an authentic picture of a city that I love.

3

Dvořák - Symphony No. 9 Allegro con fuoco (offical music video) from Brecht Goyvaerts on Vimeo.

I love how this music video plays with juxtaposition and creates not only a compelling visual experience but makes a resounding social statement.
