Triple Feature | Take 8

In media production we beg, borrow, and steal from content; scrapping for something we can craft into our own unique point of view. When it fails we get accused of being cheap copies, but when it works we are honored with accolades and awards. From branded content and short films to commercials and music videos; these are the three videos I found this week that are worth watching.

This short film highlights the power of contrast and point of view. The repetition creates a visual rhythm that keeps your interest while pushing forth the narrative. Beautifully shot and executed.

This is just fun. Sometimes "Campy" is just stupid, but this album trailer is brilliant! This is a great example of how the visual supports the music.

Passionate people are infectious and this short documentary about a hair stylist is just that. The 75FPS frame rate allows the viewer to really focus on the story without being distracted yet creating enough visual drama to evoke an emotion.
