It's been a while since my last post. I've been slammed at work. Went to NAB for a week which was cool. Met a lot of great people and finally got to shake hands with some folks I only knew through the interwebs. Then had to play catchup at work before heading to the mountains for a week. I think I'm almost caught up.
Creative Mornings Nashville from Allen Laseter on Vimeo.
Love the feeling Allen creates with his animations. There's so much movement in all the little details. Everything has so much personality which makes it fun to watch.
Facebook - Community Standards from Seth Eckert on Vimeo.
So many little moving parts. This is a great example of how offsetting your elements can breathe new life into something as static and redundant as a website. I really like how the scrolling feels like it has some weight to it. Very clean and smooth.
UBI PAY mobile app from Matteo Forghieri on Vimeo.
This is a quick piece but there's a lot of great things packed into it. All the transitions are great but my favorite is from the book to the cap. It's so seamless. Great little piece.
Squarespace Minimal from Joe Fleming on Vimeo.
This one looks simple but you know there's a lot going on under the hood. Those opening lines that curve are beautiful, especially when contrasted with the segmented lines. I don't think I have seen that curved line technique before but it's pretty cool. Love how the SquareSpace logo builds on at the end.
Ukulele feel good crap from LouLou & Tummie on Vimeo.
This made me laugh. The characters, colors, and music all work really well together.
