Summer Crush Sangria | Wrap Drinks

After a long day on set with a video production company, most clients, cast, and crew are anticipating a cold adult beverage to relax and reflect on a job well done. With summer in full swing, I felt that I could contribute putting my digital film director skills to good use. So here is my "direction" for making a refreshing batch of Sangria for your next wrap party!

• Bottle of red wine

• Triple Sec

 • Orange Crush

 • 2 Tbsp Sugar

 • Juiced Lemon

 • Lime Wedges

 • Raspberries

 • Blueberries

 • Blackberries

 • Sliced Strawberries

 • Cubed Cantaloupe

First pour the bottle of wine into a pitcher. Then add 2 shots of Triple Sec. Next sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of sugar (as if you actually needed more sugar). Juice the lemon and pour the lemon juice in the pitcher. Slice, squeeze, and toss the lime wedges into the pitcher. Lightly mush the blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries and toss the mash into the pitcher. Toss in the sliced strawberries and cubed cantaloupe. The magic starts to happen when you add 4 cups of Orange Crush! Lastly, stir the fruity alcoholic madness with a slotted spoon.

Let the mix soak and chill for between 1-2 hours. If you let it sit too long the Crush will go flat and it will loose its edge.

Serve with ice and a spoonful of mashed berry melon wonderment; toasting to the creative process.

Always drink responsibly.
