Triple Feature | Take 18

As digital film creators we are constantly searching for inspiration; viewing life through a unique lens that allows us to share our experiences and stories with others. When we fail we get thrown to the side and called amateurs, but when it works we are honored with accolades and awards. From branded content and short films to commercials and music videos, these are three videos I found this week that inspire me to be a better filmmaker.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR! I don't know why. I'm just feeling hopelessly romantic this week. So I present to you three short films that will be sure to give you all the feels. These are some seriously impressive pieces that provide some great insight into modern day human interaction. Be sure to LIKE these videos and show the filmmakers some LOVE if you feel the same!

Award Winning short film about a German girl and an Irish boy who are thrown together by circumstance. Despite a language barrier they learn more about each other than they thought possible.

A story about the power of love. It has no boundaries. All it needs is a moment. It can last forever or it can be fleeting.

Shot mockumentary style, this short follows two young couples in opposite stages of romance: Matt and Willa, who have been hooking up for six days, and Owen and Abby, who are trying in vain to breathe new life into a five-year relationship that is growing stale. It’s an exploration of the grey areas of contemporary dating and how much we keep from the people we’re closest to.

Dating. It's usually confusing. How do you decide how much time and effort to spend on someone? Should it just happen naturally, or is there some necessary intention from both parties?

Slightly political, this piece begs the viewer to ask, "What would I do in that situation?". Does marriage bring more joy or more problems to a relationship?
